Nunavut International Film Festival
In 2026, NBES launched the 6th annual Aulajut Nunavut Internationl Film Festival!
This festival is proud to showcase voices from around the globe. Each year, the festival takes place at the Astro Theatre in Iqaluit, Nunavut.
This year, we featured a special History Block for Inuktut Language Month with a selection of films focusing on Inuit culture and language.
We also expanded beyond Iqaluit! Additional screenings were held in Kinngait, Igloolik, and the WAG-Qaumajuq in Winnipeg.
